Family Photos

For some reason most of the photos I have taken of my family end up being deleted, because I feel the photos really don't do them justice.

My family photos are mostly shots of people awkwardly posing with fixed grins. I did try taking candid shots; This didn't work either, with some terrible frozen facial expressions.

A very good article on Exposure blog, gives the following advice:
  • Fill the frame
  • Compose your shot
  • Light is your best friend
  • Natural light
  • We can tell if they aren't comfortable
