Getting up at 5am isn't something that I want to make a habit of, but in this case I think it was worth it. The annual Patriots Day reenactment is held in Lexington, Massachusetts . To be authentic, the reenactment is held at the same time as the original event (dawn). Paul Revere gallops on his horse to warn the Patriots that the British troops are on their way. The resulting skirmish between the Redcoats and Rebels happened on Lexington Green. I was amazed how many people are willing to get up at such an early hour.
