Cheap Medium Format Cameras
The immediacy of Digital photography is great and the fact that after buying the camera, digital photography is basically free is also a big plus. Recently though, I found myself missing the more hands on approach of working with film.
So... I invested hard earned cash on a couple of vintage medium format cameras bought on ebay (hardly, the average price of these cameras was around $US 10). I am actually quite pleased with the results. These two examples were taken with a Kodak Brownie Hawkeye. This is a very basic point and shoot camera. I think the photos definitely have a different quality to them from digital photos.
I processed the film and scanned the images myself. More on this another time.
